The Middle High School Math Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering effective mathematics instruction to students in grades 7–12. The teacher will foster a positive learning environment that supports critical thinking, problem‑solving, and mastery of mathematical concepts ranging from basic arithmetic to higher‑level topics such as Algebra, Geometry, and Pre‑Calculus, depending on grade level.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Math Education, or a related field.
• Possession of a math teaching license through the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education at the middle and/or high school level.
• SEI Endorsement.
• Strong classroom management, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience with data‑driven instruction.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Successful completion of a Criminal Record Check (C.O.R.I.) and fingerprint check.

• Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with state and district math standards.
• Teach math concepts appropriate to the grade level, including topics such as pre‑algebra, algebra, geometry, statistics, and/or calculus.
• Use a variety of instructional strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Assess student understanding regularly through quizzes, tests, projects, and formative assessments.
• Provide timely feedback and support to help students improve their mathematical skills.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of students with varying abilities, including those with IEPs or English language learners.
• Integrate technology and digital tools to enhance instruction and student engagement.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records of student progress, attendance, and communication.
• Collaborate with other teachers, administrators, and families to support student success.
• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and curriculum planning.

• Ability to work in a normal classroom, office and school building environment.
• Ability to move freely about the building to perform duties with staff.
• Ability to utilize computers and other administrative technologies appropriate to the position.

• Bachelor degree preferred.
• Citizenship, residency, or work visa required.
