Job Description

Carlisle Elementary School is seeking a full-time Tier II Tutor for the school year  school year.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • College Degree (Education Degree Preferred)
  • Prior experience working with students that need academic support

REPORTS TO: Elementary Principal

JOB GOAL: To work closely with students that need extra academic support in math and reading.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide academic support and direct instruction to students in small groups (may include preview, reinforcement, review, individualized curriculum) to meet identified goals/objectives.
  • Work with the Elementary Principal and other staff to identify and plan small group interventions.
  • Communicate with parents on student progress.
  • Provide students with Tier II supports, while fostering and facilitating increasing independence.
  • Maintain the high level of confidentiality and professionalism expected of the teaching staff.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Elementary Principal.
