Hours:
Monday through Thursday (up to 18 hours per week, summer programs run between 8:00AM and 12:30PM). Location, hours and number of positions will be determined when enrollment is complete. Compensation: $40/per hour per the Collective Bargaining Agreement located on the DY website. Substitute Paraeducators: DYRSD school year Para educator IA's will receive the same hourly rate as their school year position. DYRSD school year Para educator II, III, IV or Sec I will be placed on the PE IA step closest to their school year hourly wage for the ESY position, per the Collective Bargaining Agreement located on the DY website.
Newly hired Para educator IA's will be placed on the first step of the PE IA salary schedule. All internal applicants who are interested in this position should apply within ten days of this posting. All applicants must be fingerprinted and complete a CORI application with the District. Once hired, instructions will be provided. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following.
Other duties may be assigned. Working with Pre-Kindergarten through grade 12 children. Duties assigned by director/coordinator. Toileting and diaper changing may be required.
