Job DescriptionCAPS Collaborative is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and dependable Direct Support Coach to join our Momentum team. This new program is contracted through the Department of Developmental Services (DDS) and will support adults with intellectual disabilities.
In this role, you will provide coaching that empowers Momentum members to pursue their personal goals, develop greater independence, and build meaningful connections within their communities. Candidates will facilitate structured, supervised activities that promote engagement in meaningful and purposeful activities driven by individual preferences and needs. The applicant must demonstrate the ability to support vocational skill-building both in our facility and at community-based job sites while promoting dignity and inclusion.
Candidates must have a valid driver's license and be willing to drive our members to scheduled activities, volunteer sites, and jobs in a CAPS Collaborative van. Ability to obtain or maintain CPR/First Aid, and MAP certifications.
Position type:
Full-time. 7 Hours per day.
