Easton Middle School is seeking to hire an energetic and skilled Math Coach to join our Team. This is a school level leadership opportunity, responsible for working with grade level teams (6-8).

• Coaching teachers in understanding and revising curriculum, delivering effective, differentiated instruction, and utilizing data for instructional and programmatic decision-making
• Organize structure of intervention groups, schedules and assign Interventionists
• Train and support Interventionists in using targeted interventions based on individual student needs
• Provide teachers and Interventionists with grade-level data for formative decision making
• Incorporate a variety of assessment strategies in order to inform and modify instruction
• Review and make recommendations regarding programs and/or materials
• Plan and facilitate data meetings
• Participate in scheduled SIT (Student Intervention Team) meetings
• Coordinate and communicate with the Math Department Chair
• Assist Interventionists in: providing services to students, troubleshooting student difficulties, assessing student responses to interventions, providing feedback to teachers regarding student progress, modeling if necessary, understanding data results, providing information to teachers to assist in standards-based reporting, communicating student performance issues/needs with other staff and parents
• Assist teachers in: modeling lessons or strategies, providing interventions that can be used in Tier I instruction, determining appropriate student groups, analyzing data, ensuring instructional consistency across the school, generating data for standards-based reporting, communicating student performance issues/needs with other staff and parents
• Is Knowledgeable about Culturally Responsive Teaching
• Maintains an inclusive learning environment for all students

• Math License (required)
• 7+ years of classroom teaching experience (required)
• Middle school experience (preferred)
• Instructional coaching experience (preferred)

  Salary: $56,294 to $113,359 Per Year
