Job DescriptionThe Triton Regional School District seeks qualified candidates to fill substitute teaching positions on a regular basis. A teaching credential, or work toward such credential, along with experience in an educational setting is preferred. Successful substitutes must be dependable, reliable, and regularly willing to accept work when called upon. Applicants selected through this process will be added to the district's substitute on‑call list;
all communications will be through the Aesop system. Substitutes will be called as needed and chosen based upon qualifications and the requirements of the vacancy on that particular day.
There is also a need for substitute Instructional Assistants.
- Position Type: Part‑time
- Salary: $125/day Classroom Teacher
- Salary: $100/day Instructional Assistant
- Salary Range: $100 to $125 per day
The Triton Regional School District serves the Massachusetts coastal towns of Newbury, Rowley, and Salisbury. Located in the northeast corner of the state, these communities provide a distinct population of students. Each town has one elementary school (Pre‑K through grade
6), the middle school houses approximately 350 students in grades 7 and 8, and the high school has around 600 students in grades 9 through 12, with a total district enrollment of about 2,200 students.
