Assistant Professor (Tenure-Track) in Psychology
Founded by the Congregation of Holy Cross in 1948, Stonehill is a private Catholic college located just 22 miles from downtown Boston on a beautiful 384-acre campus in Easton, Massachusetts. Although the area of specialty is open, we are particularly interested in applicants focused on child psychology or forensic psychology. Strong candidates will be able to easily engage in active research with undergraduate students. Responsibilities may include teaching Introduction to Psychology as well as clinical courses such as Introduction to Psychopathology, clinical psychology, or courses in the applicant's area of specialty.
TypicalQualifications
We seek applicants who have completed a Ph.D. in clinical psychology. Applicants should be committed to excellence in teaching, advising, and mentoring undergraduates, as well as a strong commitment to diversity and intersectionality. Experience mentoring and supporting students from traditionally under-represented backgrounds (first-generation, BIPOC, LGBTQ+, minority religion, etc.) is also preferred.
