We are currently seeking highly qualified and collaborative Reading Specialist needed for Middle School students with reading disabilities. This is unique opportunity to join a dynamic and dedicated teaching team in a high performing district that is committed to balancing whole child needs and rigorous academic program .
All candidates must hold a valid Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education License.

- The successful candidate will provide one block of instruction as a reading specialist for middle school students in grades 6-8. Knowledge of research based instructional strategies and curricula for children with language based learning disabilities required. Experience with Visualizing and Verbalizing, Project Read Framing Your Thoughts, and Thinking Maps preferred. Training and/or certification in Wilson/Orton Gillingham and LIPS required.
