Primary Function:
To assume all responsibilities for the institutional program including planning and delivering the curriculum and managing the students in the classroom.

• Certified in Massachusetts in the subject area
• Knowledge of the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks
• Bachelor’s Degree in Education
• Experience teaching the subject preferred

• Teach five sections of High School Science;
• Ability to collaborate on and implement curriculum activities and lessons
• Strong classroom management and positive behavioral skills
• Experience with inclusion
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills with students, staff and parents
• Good organization and time management skills
• Ability to portray a positive role model to students
• Responsible for grading students work and assigning term grades
• Collect and interpret student data
• Modify lessons based on student data

Salary:
Per Contract Agreement between the QEA and QRSD School Committee
