Curry College, founded in 1879, is a private, four-year, liberal arts-based institution in Milton, Massachusetts. Curry is the only college in Massachusetts to guarantee students a job after graduation via The Curry Commitment program. The College is accredited by the New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE) and offers 28 undergraduate majors, over 50 minors and concentrations, seven graduate programs, and an associate's degree.

The exam proctor will monitor students taking exams at Curry College. The Exam Proctor performs duties including student identification, admission, seating, and monitoring of examinees, in adherence with the Curry College Nursing Program policies. The exam proctor performs duties relating to preparation of testing rooms in advance of testing, taking attendance, directing students regarding exam procedures prior to the start of the exam.

The proctor must be available for flexible hours between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. The proctor may also be asked to assist with other duties related to the Nursing program testing.

• Maintain a safe and calm exam environment.
• Check identification before testing and follow exam seating protocol.
• Demonstrate an understanding of and follow all exam procedures.
• Troubleshoot or refer to assigned staff to assist with issues including student login and other testing site challenges.
• Use high vigilance when monitoring students during exam sessions to ensure a secure exam environment.
• Control Admission to and from the exam room/computer laboratory.
• Strictly adhere to Nursing Program testing policies.
• Document and report incidents or irregularities accurately, including technology issues, policy violations, interruptions, or student concerns in a timely manner to examinee staff.
• Be punctual for scheduled shifts.
• Complete appropriate paperwork for various exams such as ensuring upload when exam is completed.
• Verify exam materials and testing readiness before students begin, including secure testing instructions, approved materials, and room/computer readiness.
• Enforce testing rules consistently, including restrictions on phones, smart watches, notes, calculators, breaks, and other unauthorized materials.
