Old Rochester Regional School District is seeking an innovative & collaborative Math and Social Studies 6th Grade Teacher (Long Term Substitute) at Rochester Memorial School, in Rochester, MA to cover a leave of absence starting on approximately September 16, 2026 through November 9, 2026.

The mission of our school system is to inspire all students to think, to learn and to care.

• Provide direct service and consultation for students
• Use a significant portion of each day in direct contact with students for counseling, planning or decision making
• Provide classroom and small group instruction
• Provide crisis counseling and referral when necessary to outside agencies
• Mediate with students and staff to resolve conflicts that interfere with the learning process
• Provide consultation to staff regarding student difficulty in the classroom and assistance in developing positive behavior intervention and support plans
• Serve as a resource person to staff to provide information about behavioral, social, emotional matters which may have significance for student’s program
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators and parents
• All other duties assigned by the principal

Salary: upto $334 Per Day

• DESE special education licensure.
