The Harvard Public Schools welcomes applications for a Long-Term Special Education Teacher at Hildreth Elementary School from November 2026 through May 2027.

• Establish and communicate clear learning objectives
• Develop age-appropriate instructional strategies to achieve the curriculum goals
• Assess and evaluate student's performance on a regular basis
• Set and maintain acceptable standards of classroom behavior to establish an orderly learning environment
• IEP development, review, and data collection
• Within mainstream or in a pullout setting, provide teamed, small group or individualized instruction and/or academic support according to the general and specific goals outlined in students' individualized educational plans
• Collaborate with service providers as indicated in student education plans
• Oversee the assignment of Learning Assistants, if indicated by Principal or Special Education Administrator
• Provide small group or individual instruction to special needs pupils as prescribed in their educational plans
• Modify and adapt the curricula, materials, and physical environment to meet the needs of individual students
• Co‑teaching experience preferred
