Job DescriptionPosition: Anticipated Long Term Substitute:
High School Social Studies Teacher
Reports To: Rich Cameron
Work Year Days: 8 weeks beginning September 30, 2026
Work Hours: Full school day
Terms of Employment: September 30, 2026 - December 1, 2026
Salary: $318.48 per day

Required:
Minimum:
Bachelor’s Degree
- Prior teaching or substitute experience is a plus.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Flexibility to accept assignments on short notice.
- Must successfully pass a CORI background check and fingerprinting as required by Massachusetts law.
Responsibilities:
- Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Adapt to various subjects and grade levels as scheduled.
- Communicate effectively with students and fellow staff.
- Adhere to all district policies and procedures.
