Job Description Inspire Language, Culture & Connection – Join Us as a Spanish Teacher! The Ashburnham-Westminster Regional School District is seeking a dynamic, student-centered Spanish Teacher at Oakmont High School. Preferred candidates will have the ability to teach all levels of Spanish and demonstrate a passion for world language instruction and cultural literacy.
The successful candidate will possess strong content knowledge, a mastery of diverse instructional strategies, and the ability to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment that supports all learners. Candidates should be comfortable integrating educational technology to enhance instruction and student engagement, while fostering meaningful communication skills in reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
We are seeking an educator who builds positive relationships with students, collaborates effectively with colleagues and families, and actively contributes to the school community through co-curricular and extracurricular involvement. A commitment to academic excellence, student growth, and culturally responsive teaching practices is essential.

- Bachelor’s degree in Spanish, World Language Education, or a related field required
Valid Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) license in Spanish (5–12) required
Ability to teach all levels of high school Spanish preferred
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Experience integrating instructional technology into classroom practice
Knowledge of differentiated instruction and culturally responsive teaching practices
Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, students, families, and administrators
Previous teaching experience at the secondary level preferred - Bachelor degree preferred.
