What We Offer This position is responsible for supporting manufacturing processes at the Covestro South Deerfield Site. This includes the implementation of electrical control projects to allow for the safe, responsible, and efficient production of both Thermoplastic Polyurethane and Polycarbonate films. This includes the design, development, programming, and maintenance of automated control systems for site equipment and processes using PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA.

Key duties include writing code, creating electrical drawings, troubleshooting hardware/software, testing systems, collaborating with other engineers, and ensuring compliance with standards.

** Major Responsibilities
** Fluent with industrial electrical standards and ability to become expert in site's electrical distribution system and equipment.  Leads moderate continuous improvement teams / efforts at the site as controls engineering support.  
** Basic Qualifications
** Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred), with a minimum of 3 years' experience
** Preferred Qualifications
** 6+ years in a manufacturing or engineering environment with some experience with controls is preferred
