Our mission is to ship the very best integrated GPUs in the world, putting Qualcomm in a position of graphics and compute leadership in all its businesses. We are looking for hardware micro‑architects and RTL designers to develop the Adreno GPU for Qualcomm Snapdragon compute platforms across the best of smartphones, Windows PCs, Chromebooks, virtual reality and augmented reality devices, and automotive solutions.

• Design micro‑architecture and RTL for blocks and modules of the Adreno GPU architecture across shader processing, graphics pipelines, memory subsystem, interconnect, and power and system level design.
• Identify advanced ways to optimize hardware design for better performance, power, and cost.
• Evaluate the hardware feasibility of complex algorithms and requirements.
• Develop micro‑architecture specifications for the next generation design.
• Provide essential verification and debugging activities throughout the entire project cycle.
• Optimize silicon cost and improve clock speed.
• Troubleshoot silicon issues with relevant products.

• Experience ranging from 3 to 20 years.
• Experience with Verilog/System Verilog, Synopsys synthesis, low power design, test plan development, and coverage‑based design verification.
• Knowledge of computer architecture, computer arithmetic, low power design, and programming languages such as C/C++/Python.
• Experience designing RTL for GPU, CPU, DSP, machine‑learning, cache, controller, video, display, and camera blocks in ASIC.
• Exposure to Graphics APIs (OpenGL, Vulkan, Direct3D, etc.) is a big plus.
• Good communication skills and a desire to work as a team player.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Master’s degree in an engineering field and 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Ph.D. in an engineering field and 2+ years of relevant experience.

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum pay range for this job code at the posted location.
