Who We're Looking For We are seeking a highly motivated and technically curious Electronics & AI Hardware Integration Intern to contribute to advanced projects within our [Company Name/Industry, e.g., manufacturing, R&D] environment.

This hands-on internship offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience across hardware development, software integration, and AI-driven automation. Key responsibilities and project involvement will include:
* Hardware Development & Prototyping:
Engaging in the full hardware lifecycle, including component sourcing and vendor communication, soldering, and printed circuit board (PCB) development.
* Camera-Based Vision System Implementation:
Developing and deploying camera-based systems for real-time recognition and classification of part characteristics, directly impacting quality control and operational efficiency.
* Automated Reporting & Analytics Integration:
Creating automated reports for kit type and location, integrating with analytics software to provide actionable insights for operational improvements.
* AI Data Source Expansion:
Expanding and refining AI data sources with a focus on implementing quick, impactful solutions to enhance system accuracy and performance. This internship is ideal for individuals eager to apply their knowledge in electronics, software development, and artificial intelligence to solve real-world problems and make tangible contributions to our operational excellence.

Minimum Qualifications:

* Currently enrolled in and have successfully completed the sophomore year (or equivalent) of an accredited bachelor's degree program in a relevant engineering or scientific discipline.
* Maintain a minimum cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent).
* Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a long-term basis without the need for current or future employer-sponsored immigration status. This includes, but is not limited to, H-1B, OPT, O-1, TN Visas, or any other employment-based immigration sponsorship.
* Ability to commit to full-time employment (40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) on-site at our Camas, WA location for the entire duration of the internship program. *
  • For Semester System Students:
    May 18th, 2026 - July 24, 2026
    * For Quarter System Students:
    June 22nd, 2026 - August 28, 2026

    * Excellent communication (verbal and written), computer proficiency, presentation skills, and active listening abilities are essential for contributing effectively to team projects and TSMC Washington's culture.

    Physical Requirements (for certain roles):
    * Some roles within the internship program may require the ability to:
    * Lift and move materials in accordance with applicable regulations and safety guidelines, including NIOSH lifting recommendations.
    * Work in a cleanroom environment, which includes adhering to gowning protocols (wearing coveralls, hoods, boots, safety glasses, and gloves) and spending significant time on the factory floor…
