You Are: You are an accomplished technical leader with over 15 years of hands-on experience in semiconductor Signal and Power Integrity (SI/PI). Your expertise spans the full breadth of interface IP development and system-level implementation, making you a go-to authority for complex SI/PI challenges. You thrive in collaborative, global environments, and your track record shows a consistent ability to deliver strong results in multi-stakeholder settings.

As an expert in high-speed interfaces, you are adept at defining product and interface requirements, guiding advanced SI/PI methodologies, and providing clear, actionable design support to customers.

You Are: You possess a unique blend of technical depth and customer empathy, enabling you to bridge the gap between engineering teams and client needs. Your system-level SI/PI knowledge encompasses silicon PHYs, packaging, and PCB integration, allowing you to proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks in leading-edge designs. You are passionate about mentoring junior engineers and fostering a culture of innovation within your organization.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Driving innovation in high-speed interface DDR IP products, facilitating the development of cutting-edge solutions and SI/PI methodologies.
  • Enhancing customer satisfaction by providing expert SI/PI support and guidance for interface IP integration at both pre- and post-sales stages.
  • Supporting management decisions by delivering in-depth insights into technical challenges, SI/PI methodologies, tool requirements, and customer needs.
  • Mentoring and developing junior talent within the engineering design organization, nurturing the next generation of technical leaders.
  • Fostering a collaborative and innovative R&D environment that encourages the sharing of ideas and continuous improvement.
  • Defining SI/PI requirements and methodologies for high-performance interface IP, ensuring seamless integration from silicon to system level.

  • Drive the development of advanced SI/PI modeling flows and system-level verification methodologies, reinforcing Synopsys’ leadership in high-speed DDR interface IP.
  • Strengthen the customer experience by ensuring functional correctness, physical feasibility, and seamless MSIP IP PHY integration across platforms.
  • Influence company strategy by providing actionable insights into emerging SI/PI trends and industry best practices.
  • Elevate the technical capabilities of the organization through mentorship, training, and the introduction of innovative methodologies.
  • Promote cross-functional collaboration, aligning engineering, product, and customer support teams to deliver exceptional value to Synopsys’ clients.
What You’ll Need
  • Proven expertise in signal and power integrity for high-speed interfaces, including mixed-signal design and off-chip system signaling.
  • Deep experience with SI/PI modeling, analysis, debugging, and tools such as Ansys Nexxim/HFSS/SiWave and Synopsys Prime Sim Hspice (Keysight ADS is a plus).
  • Exceptional communication, organization, risk assessment, and time management skills, with the ability to abstract and communicate actionable conclusions.
  • Strong documentation skills for generating and supporting written specifications and effectively communicating them within design teams and to external customers.
  • Bachelor s or Master s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, with a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in supporting interface IP product development (preferably DDR), system integration, and SI/PI verification flows and methodologies.
