Senior Engineer I-Quality
Job Description:
The Senior Engineer I‑Quality is a key contributor to product quality, process integrity, and operational excellence within our manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for driving the timely resolution of nonconformances and CAPAs, optimizing inspection processes, and leading continuous improvement initiatives. Senior Engineer I‑Quality will mentor quality inspectors and champion a culture of quality, teamwork, and accountability throughout all manufacturing and support functions.

- Support and continuously improve the ISO
9001 Quality Management System (QMS) - Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including engineering, manufacturing, logistics, and customers, to resolve quality issues, implement corrective actions, and drive ongoing quality improvements
- Partner with manufacturing teams to address in‑house quality concerns, review nonconforming products, and recommend appropriate dispositions
- Investigate and resolve customer‑facing quality issues using root cause analysis tools (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys); prepare and facilitate both customer and internal corrective actions
- Assess product impact in the event of calibration or test equipment failures
- Provide comprehensive metrics and technical reports to management on internal quality performance; track and report significant nonconformances and recommend corrective actions
- Develop and deliver regular training sessions for inspection and manufacturing staff on quality topics, fostering a culture of quality ownership at every level
- Maintain effective communication and collaborative working relationships across departments and the organization; uphold professional competence and knowledge to ensure high‑quality performance of all assigned duties
- Apply engineering expertise, adaptability, and self‑motivation to thrive in a fast‑paced environment
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering
- Minimum 5‑8 years of experience as a Quality Engineer or equivalent; experience in the electronic device industry is preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships at all organizational levels
- Experience with NCR, MRB, and RMA processes
- Proficient in the use of statistical concepts and tools (e.g., SPC, MSA, Minitab)
- Preferred experience with military and industry standards, including MIL‑STD‑750, MIL‑STD‑883, MIL‑PRF‑19500, MIL‑PRF‑38534, ISO
9001, AS9100, AS9102, IPC J‑STD‑001 - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite for preparing detailed metrics, technical reports, and presentations
- Demonstrated experience maintaining a Quality Management System in accordance with ISO
9001 - Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills

We offer a total compensation package that ranks among the best in the industry. It consists of competitive base pay, restricted stock units, and quarterly bonus payments. In addition to these components, our package includes health benefits that begin day one, retirement savings plans, and an industry leading ESPP program with a 2‑year look back feature. The annual base salary range for this position, which could be performed in the US, is $70,304 – $205,000.*
* Range is dependent on numerous factors including job location, skills and experience.
