Responsibilities
- Sustains and retains internal material specifications.
- Review contracts to assist in proper factory flow for material requirements.
- Determine proper material and NDT requirements for applicable parts and assist in placing information on drawings.
- Contribute to failure analysis and product issues dealing with materials.
- Help produce new material processes.
- Assist in determining material disposition and rework operations for material issues.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Individual must have a strong knowledge of materials and material science. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, with minimal supervision. Must be able to prioritize own work and handle multiple projects/tasks simultaneously. Must be able to connect across multiple sites with multiple cultures. Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (metallurgy, materials engineering, or material science) from a four‑year college or university; with at least three months of related, prior experience.
