Role:
Onsite – U.S. Citizen required, Secret security clearance required.
- Design and develop radar processing and network systems (e.g. X86-based processors).
- Research and select servers, workstations, add‑in interface cards, storage devices, and other COTS hardware.
- Define BIOS and operating system configuration for COTS platforms.
- Prototype and integrate systems in a laboratory setting.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience with emerging and legacy hardware and software, including Unix and Linux operating systems.
- Experience translating a system design concept from block diagram or requirements into a complete COTS‑based hardware design, then verifying the design through integration and test plans and activities.
- Experience working in a lab environment and operating standard test equipment such as oscilloscopes, processor bus analyzers, emulators, and data capture tools.
- Experience developing and implementing computing, networking, and IT infrastructure through rigorous design and documentation.
- Experience collaborating with hardware engineering disciplines, supply chain, suppliers, field engineering, on‑site installation, and customers to deliver safety‑critical systems.
- Current or in‑progress computing or networking certifications (e.g. CCNA, AWS, CISSP).
- Experience with radar system hardware.
- Experience with firewall design and configuration.
- Experience implementing Security Technical Implementation Guides and network hardening.
- Experience with system‑level hardware integration and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Visio, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Willingness to support occasional domestic travel and potential international travel.
- Existing security clearance.
