LocationOnsite, Massachusetts (likely Woburn or Tewksbury).
What You Will Do- Serve as a key member of the program leadership team, ensuring successful program performance by ensuring conforming products and services through effective collaboration and compliance with processes and procedures.
- Lead integration and execution of a team of quality professionals across product teams and disciplines.
- Work collaboratively with cross‑functional partners and customers to ensure alignment and that customer requirements are met.
- Lead quality and mission assurance efforts for program bids and proposals, gates and milestone reviews, risk and opportunity management, and program excellence processes.
- Drive compliance with the Raytheon Quality Management System while driving continuous improvement.
- Engage on both strategic and tactical levels, focusing on quality, cost and schedule performance, early engagement, influencing and providing differentiating quality value to program teams and customers.
- Initiate and perform root cause analysis, facilitate corrective actions, and implement closed loop process controls to improve product/process predictability and capability.
- Implement Advanced Product Quality Planning in accordance with AS9145, as applicable.
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience in quality, engineering, manufacturing, and/or operations.
- Working experience with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 Quality Management Systems.
- Experience in providing quality technical expertise to ensure effective design/development and/or manufacturing results.
- Active and transferable U.S. government‑issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Experience applying quality requirements and standards, including aerospace, commercial, defense, and/or space standards as well as internal policies, procedures and requirements.
- Experience with contracts/contractual requirements, particularly on U.S. Government contracts.
- Experience driving successful performance of major subcontractors, suppliers and/or IOTs.
- Experience with defense systems throughout the product life cycle, including design, production, installation, integration, test and sustainment.
- Experience identifying, evaluating, and documenting problems with requirements, program functionality, and/or software releases.
- Experience defining and evaluating quality metrics.
- Experience collaborating cross‑functionally.
- Experience assessing engineering work products (e.g., peer reviews, configuration control boards, code reviews, product readiness and sales) to identify and eliminate in‐phase defects.
- Experience participating in test preparation and execution to ensure requirements are verified.
- Experience in risk mitigation and opportunity management.
- Experience utilizing data, quality science tools and facilitating cross‑functional teams to drive root cause, corrective action, and systematic improvement activities.
- RTX CORE qualified and proficient.
- Earned Value certified and proficient.
- Experience communicating verbally and in written communications and networking with other stakeholders.
