Responsibilities
Research, analyze, design, and test component parts, processes, or systems to develop new and/or improve core products. Develop and recommend solutions for technical project assignments using fundamental principles of mechanical, electrical, packaging, or other engineering disciplines. Collaborate in a team environment to develop assigned portions of design by analyzing specifications and performance requirements. Perform routine design and support the development of assigned products (e.g., new mechanical or electromechanical components, subsystems, and systems) by applying basic engineering principles and established analytical tools.
Investigate product development factors such as ease of manufacture, availability of materials and equipment, interchangeability, strength‑weight efficiency, contractual specification requirements, cost‑defining recommendations, and change proposals. Complete defined technical tasks, including modifying product functional specifications, detailed drawings, and schematics; defining data elements and structure; analyzing and interpreting test reports. Conduct routine analysis and/or tests to evaluate product designs, methods, materials or processes and complete required technical documentation by applying engineering principles and company standards.
Provide technical information for review with product engineering and design review teams. Consistently apply established engineering practices, standards, and documentation methods. Contribute to supporting documentation for procedures and technical reports. Adopt lean product development and standard engineering development and techniques. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing technical publications, and/or participating in professional associations. Work assignments may include cross‑functional or project team responsibilities, and contribute and support other teams or individuals as needed.
- Enrolled or progressing toward a 4‑year Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- Competency in college‑level math; knowledge of statistics, accounting, and analytics is a plus.
- Technical writing skills.
- Prior work experience in an office or manufacturing environment is helpful.
- Demonstrated ability to self‑manage projects; experience leading projects or groups is a plus.
Perform basic mathematical calculations and demonstrate effective verbal, written, and computer skills. Demonstrate team member competencies and participate in goal setting, performance feedback, and self‑development activities.

Competitive Compensation- Pay Range: $18/hr to $30/hr
