We are seeking a Process and Mechatronics Technology Engineer to support and improve manufacturing and automation processes. This role splits time between process engineering responsibilities and hands‑on mechatronics/automation support, with a strong emphasis on working directly with production equipment on the factory floor.
This position is ideal for an engineer with 2–3 years of experience who is comfortable troubleshooting automation, supporting equipment, programming, and owning day‑to‑day process performance in a manufacturing environment.
Shift: 1st Shift
Responsibilities Process Engineering- Support and improve manufacturing processes with regard to yield, quality, and throughput.
- Monitor process performance and assist with defining operating limits and controls.
- Participate in root cause investigations related to process variation or equipment issues.
- Support process documentation, work instructions, and controlled change activities.
- Initiate and maintain Process Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
- Process characterization and validation (IQ/OQ/PQ).
- Support manufacturing by aiding in repair of technical equipment to minimize downtime.
- Support OpEx and Ops with Continuous Improvement Initiatives.
- Support, modify, and troubleshoot automated manufacturing equipment, including:
- Robotics (e.g., Epson or similar)
- Manufacturing e‑test software
- Equipment control and support software
- Troubleshoot issues involving electrical, mechanical, sensor, and software interfaces.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Support equipment upgrades, improvements, and commissioning activities.
- Interface with technicians, maintenance, and engineering peers to resolve production issues.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or related discipline.
- 2–3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with:
- C#, VB, Python, or PLC adjacent programming.
- Industrial robots (Epson preferred).
- Manufacturing test systems.
- Basic PLC data interaction or industrial communications.
- Familiarity with SPC, Lean, and continuous improvement activities.

$67,000 - $97,000. This is the full salary range for the position. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, education, and internal equity.
