Equipment Engineer II

The Equipment Engineer II supports manufacturing operations through the maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of production equipment. This role ensures equipment reliability, supports process optimization, and leads equipment-related validation activities to maintain efficient and compliant manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure reliable operation and minimal downtime
• Support installation, commissioning, and qualification of new equipment, including IQ/OQ/PQ execution
• Apply calibration and metrology principles to ensure equipment accuracy and compliance
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
• Monitor equipment performance metrics (OEE, downtime trends) to identify improvements
• Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to optimize performance and yield
• Provide technical support for production and automation systems
• Develop and execute validation protocols and documentation

Education Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering;
Master’s preferred

Years’ Experience

Required:

3–5 years (open to less experience with strong internships/co-ops)

40 hours/week
