Regulatory Compliance Specialist, Research Scientist, Quality Engineering, Materials Engineering
The Associate Scientist in Manufacturing Sciences & Technology will support the Materials and Cryogenics Science group in the life cycle management of raw materials, consumables and single-use systems utilized for biopharmaceuticals commercial manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Manufacturing, Manufacturing Technology, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Supply Chain, and Global Procurement groups on cross-functional teams.
The subject matter expert for this position will be primarily required to Support raw material lab studies including:- Material Management:
Ali quoting and shipping materials to contract testing labs - Material characterization using XRF, Particle Size Distribution and Imagining
- Author technical reports
- Support material investigations
- Evaluate and manage material assessments associated with supplier changes notifications to maintain GMP compliance.
- Support Material Specification documentation.
- Support group documentation coordination.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Familiarity with Analytical testing/techniques with good laboratory practices.
- Strong organizational, oral communication and technical writing skills.
- Effective team player and can work independently.
- Awareness of cGMP compliance and regulatory agency requirements.
- Knowledge of raw materials and consumables used in DS/DP manufacturing.
- Laboratory experience preferably analytical chemistry or equivalent.
- Knowledge of data trending and tracking, including use of statistical analysis software a plus.
- Ability to utilize electronic Quality systems such as eQRMs (Enterprise Quality and Regulatory Management system) or Infinity a plus.
- Minimum BS in Materials Science, Biochemical, Engineering, Chemistry or equivalent scientific background.
- The incumbent will be working ~50% of the time in an office environment.
- The incumbent will be working ~50% of the time in a manufacturing and/or laboratory setting.
100% onsite for initial 3 months and then minimum 50% onsite required but may require more days onsite to support business needs.

The starting hourly compensation for this assignment is the following range ($38- $42.50/hr). While the final, individual compensation and any available benefits will be determined by your employer of record ASK Staffing, Inc (and not BMS), factors that will be included in making the final determination may include the characteristics of the assignment, such as demonstrated experience, required skill, and the geographic location where the job is performed.
The starting hourly compensation may be subject to change.
