Overview
Job Title:
Project Engineer - Direct hire position
Salary: $110,000 – $120,000 + Bonus + Company paid health insurance benefits
A leading heavy lifting company is seeking an Assistant Project Manager / Project Engineer to support project planning, lift engineering, estimating, and operational coordination throughout New England.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent engineering graduate or early-career professional looking to gain hands-on experience in construction, cranes, rigging, heavy equipment, transportation, or industrial operations while developing toward future leadership roles.
Responsibilities- Conduct job site visits and evaluate project conditions
- Assist with lift plans, crane layouts, estimates, and quotations
- Coordinate projects with operations, dispatch, sales, and customers
- Support scheduling, resource planning, and project documentation
- Provide technical support and build strong customer relationships
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred
- Recent graduates encouraged to apply
- Internship, co-op, military, construction, crane, heavy equipment, or industrial experience a plus
- Ability to read construction drawings and specifications
- Experience with Bluebeam, AutoCAD, or similar software preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- $110,000 – $120,000 salary + performance bonus
