PositionTransportation Engineer – Entry Level (Marlborough, Massachusetts)
ResponsibilitiesAssist senior transportation engineering staff in the preparation of corridor studies, transportation impact assessments for land development projects, parking evaluations, conceptual roadway improvement plans, and MassDOT & state/local permitting applications. Coordinate and deploy Miovision and Jamar data collection equipment; process data and analyze using Synchro and VISSIM modeling software (training provided); prepare technical reports, exhibits and applications under senior engineer direction;
support conceptual improvement plans with basic AutoCAD techniques and model software (Auto Turn).
Self‑motivated, team‑oriented candidate with a desire to learn multifaceted aspects of Transportation Engineering. Prior experience with AutoCAD and traffic modeling software is preferred but not essential. Must possess a BSCE from a 4‑year accredited university by the time of employment.
