The successful candidate will play a critical role in our land and site development projects, utilizing their expertise in AutoCAD 3D and CAD Drafting. Responsibilities:
- Manage and conduct a wide variety of land surveys including boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, subdivision, and construction staking.
- Prepare and maintain sketches, maps, reports, and legal descriptions of surveys to describe, certify, and assume liability for work performed.
- Verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites.
- Direct or conduct surveys to establish legal boundaries for properties, based on legal deeds and titles.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure plans, blueprints, and other project documents are accurate and complete.
- Utilize CAD drafting, AutoCAD 3D, and other relevant software to prepare high-quality survey drawings.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other professionals to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and practices.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Professional Land Surveyor.
- Must hold a current Professional Land Surveyor license.
- Proficient in the use of CAD drafting, AutoCAD 3D, and other relevant software.
- Extensive knowledge of land development and site development.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong team player with the ability to work independently when needed.
- Must be willing to travel to project sites as required.
