Biometrix has had great success hiring people from the military and ITT Technical Institute to be calibration technicians for the biotech and pharmaceutical industries. Our most successful calibration technicians are those who take great pride in their work and have a passion for understanding how instrumentation works – people who enjoy re‑building and troubleshooting small gas engines or wiring 12 Volt accessories in their spare time.

The following types of experience are a plus:

• Military calibration, maintenance and instrumentation training and experience
• Power plant and central energy plant instrumentation
• DCS/PLC experience
• Maintenance experience
• Navy Nuclear Power experience

When hiring validation engineers, Biometrix looks for people who have validation and industry experience – and who have a passion for understanding and improving processes and customer service.

The following types of experience are a plus:

• IQ/OQ/PQ generation and execution
• Knowledge of the CGMP environment
• Working knowledge of Kaye Validator
• BS in Engineering, Chemistry or related discipline
• Calibration, maintenance or other instrumentation experience
  
  Understanding of biotech/pharmaceutical equipment and processes
• Experience in customer service
• Documentation creation and completion
