Job DescriptionHII Mission Technologies is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to help support our customer at Hanscom Air Force Base in Lincoln, MA. This role will need an understanding of DoD, Air Force as well as common engineering/scientific principles, processes and procedures that allows for translating user requirements into weapons system, requirements. This will be used to design, develop, fabricate, test and evaluate weapons systems, subsystems and ,equipment for eventual fielding and deployment of a SAOC weapon system.
EssentialJob Responsibilities
Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
- 15 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 13 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 10 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 19 years relevant experience.
- Must have an active TS/SCI
- Previouse Experience supporting Survivable Airborne Operations Center (SAOC)
- Shall assist in performing technological/trade-off assessments of proposed designs/modifications as wellas translating user requirements into system requirements, which will be used to design, develop,fabricate, test and evaluate systems, subsystems.
