The Financial Analyst is responsible for the coordination and participation in the development of the company’s financials and other accounting deliverables.
Core Responsibilities:- Compiles and analyzes financial information for the organization
- Establishes sound strategies and methods to ensure timely deliverables while effectively communicating with senior leaders and clients
- Manages the analysis of capital projects and cashflow oversight
- Compiles detailed forecast analysis to include Budget v. Actual Spending and Forecast v. Actual Spending
- Assists in Quarterly & Annual Budget planning preparation and development
- Prepares client deliverables as requested by leadership
- Manages day-to-day reporting and forecasting
- Generates weekly, monthly, and quarterly analysis
- Assists leaders in identifying budget corrections and implements new processes
- Supports the leadership team with additional reporting, including formal and informal documents, reports, presentations, etc.
- Supports the team’s effort to develop efficient and automated reporting strategies while preserving data integrity
- Maintains awareness of industry standards for financial modeling and methodologies
- Identifies tactical and strategic opportunities, gaps, and financial risks through collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Identifies trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings to senior management
- Performs additional projects and responsibilities, outlined by the needs of the organization
- Involves other departments in program planning and implementation
- Supports others in the department and provides help and assistance when possible
- Regularly attends and participates in team and/or departmental meetings and activities
- Welcomes patients/customers/employees in a warm, friendly manner
- Actively listens and constructively responds to questions and concerns in a timely manner
- Respects the diversity of the customer/employee population
- Bachelor/MBA degree or in Accounting or Finance
- 3-5 years of financial analysis and budget experience
- Knowledge of the program structure in a client/consultant business environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills communicate effectively and is comfortable explaining analysis and accounting concepts to people with non-financial backgrounds
- High-level problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage shifting priorities
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
