Job Description

Experience: Manager
Salary: $120,000 - $140,000 per year

• 1. Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems, ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements.
• 2. Maintain internal control safeguards and coordinate all audit activities.
• 3. Manage cash flow and forecasting. Develop a reliable cash flow projection process and reporting mechanism that includes minimum cash threshold to meet operating needs.
• 4. Optimize the handling of banking relationships and initiate appropriate strategies to enhance cash positions.
• 5. Oversee budgeting and the implementation of budgets so as to monitor progress and present financial metrics both internally and externally.
• 6. Manage and track the performance of invested assets in keeping with policies and investment guidelines.
• 7. Leverage strengths of the finance team members, help to clarify roles and responsibilities, and develop and implement training programs to maximize and reach optimal individual and organizational goals.
• 8. Provide leadership in strengthening internal communications with staff at all levels throughout the organization; create and promote a positive and supportive work environment.

• 1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field. An MBA, CPA, or related designation is highly preferred.
• 2. 5+ years of experience in a senior financial managerial position, with a proven track record of success.
• 3. Advanced knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting best practices, laws, standards, and state/national regulations.
• 4. A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
• 5. Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.
• 6. Proficient user of finance software.
• 7. Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• 8. Able to manage, guide, and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used.
• 9. A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
• 10. Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.
• 11. High level of proficiency in Excel and other financial planning software.
• 12. Proven strategic planning experience at the management level.
• 13. Proficient in using financial software and advanced MS Excel skills to manipulate and analyze complex, high-volume, high-dimensionality data from various sources.
• 14. Experience in the development of strategic business and/or operational plans, budgets, and financial forecasting.
• 15. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• 16. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
