Police Officer
The Stow Police Department seeks qualified candidates to fill a full-time Police Officer position. Candidates must be at least 21 years old, hold a valid Massachusetts driver’s license, and have or be able to obtain a valid LTC.
Qualifications- Minimum age 21
- Valid Massachusetts driver’s license
- Valid LTC (or ability to obtain one)
- Massachusetts Full-Time Academy preferred; other qualified applicants considered
- Enrolled in a full-time academy encouraged to apply
- Ability to work a variable schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- 4/2 schedule
- 70/30 Health Coverage
- Paid Holidays
- 15 Sick Days per year
- Paid Vacation
- $1,200 uniform allowance
- Opportunity for overtime and paid details
Starting salary ranges from $64,230 to $79,801, depending on education and experience, with a 2% increase on July 1, 2026. Evening and midnight shift differential applies.
