• Assist stylists with preparing clients for hair services, including shampooing and conditioning treatments
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards across all workstations, including sterilizing tools such as scissors, razors, and brushes
• Support with hair treatments such as coloring, highlighting, hair extensions, and threading under supervision
• If needed, manage front desk responsibilities like greeting clients, scheduling appointments using salon software like Booker, and handling retail sales
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients about their needs and preferences

• Previous experience working in the beauty industry or a cosmetology background is preferred but not required; we do accept interns, however a passion for learning is essential
• Knowledge of salon software systems such as MINDBODY/Booker or similar platforms for appointment scheduling and client management preferred, but we will train if needed
• Familiarity with hair care techniques including hair styling and coloring
• Ability to perform sanitation procedures diligently to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
• Strong communication skills to engage effectively with clients and team members
• We accept internships, however if you have graduated you must have a current Massachusetts Cosmetology License
