Mammography Technologist

Responsible for performing a variety of technical activities associated with the performance of screening and diagnostic mammography procedures.

• Performs a variety of tasks involving the operation of mammographic equipment and other equipment/devices as appropriate.
• Positions patients and uses immobilization if necessary.
• Selects proper mode to produce correct exposure factors.
• Evaluates images for diagnostic quality, obtaining additional images as needed.
• Prepares and sets up medical supplies using aseptic techniques if appropriate.
• Explains procedures to patients.

• MA State Radiologic Technology License required
• ARRT Certification required
• Associate's in medical imaging required
• ARRT(M) and Mammography license within 1 year
• 1 year of mammography experience preferred

This role is responsible for performing high-quality screening and diagnostic mammographic procedures in accordance with established protocols and regulatory guidelines. The ideal candidate will prioritize patient comfort and safety while delivering exceptional imaging services in a professional and supportive environment.

• Per diem, flexible hours
• Monday through Friday schedule
• No weekend or holiday shifts required
