We're looking for Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTAs) for an immediate travel opening in South Yarmouth, MA. The right OTA should have 1 year of experience. Read below for more requirements.

As a OTA, you will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist (OT) to help patients of all ages develop, improve, or recover the skills needed for daily living and working. You will assist in implementing treatment plans tailored to each patient's goals and functional abilities.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver therapeutic activities and interventions as directed by the supervising OT.
  • Monitor patient progress and report observations to the OT to support treatment plan adjustments.
  • Document patient performance and progress accurately and in a timely manner per facility and state guidelines.
  • Assist patients with exercises, mobility training, and use of adaptive equipment.
  • Educate patients and families on techniques to improve independence in daily activities.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment areas and equipment.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support coordinated care.
  • Comply with state licensing rules and adhere to facility and professional standards.
Qualifications
  • Must have 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
  • Current BLS and COTA National (NBCOT) certification.
  • State-specific licensure required.
  • Ability to lift and assist patients safely.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Solid understanding of anatomy, motor function, and occupational therapy principles.

Job . Pay package is based on 8‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
