Job Description

GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide lab instruction for EMT Basic (EMS
101) course on Martha's Vineyard.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Instructor Coordinator with course lectures and practical labs.
  • Assist with course make‑up and review sessions.
  • Assist with additional EMT and/or Paramedic class needs and preparation.
Qualifications Minimum qualifications:
  • Associate degree.
  • Current EMT or Paramedic Certification.
  • Ability to perform all skills associated with the course correctly, efficiently, and with proficiency.
  • CPR, ACLS, PALS, and NAEMT Instructor certifications.
  • Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
  • Additional preferred qualifications:
  • Professional development in teaching at the community college level.
  • Experience using evidence‑based strategies to support student success including frequent communication and active learning.
  • Teaching experience using learning systems to support and improve instruction.

    Compensation

    $62.48 per hour, 18 hours per week. Part‑time, non‑benefited MCCC Unit position.
