Overview
Dietitian - Part-time (up to 16 hours a week) or Per Diem We are seeking a part-time or per diem Dietitian to join our dynamic care team at Berkshire Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center, an award-winning nursing home in Sandisfield. As a Dietitian with our team, you will play a crucial role in planning, organizing, and maintaining the quality of our dietary services.
We are a 57-bed all-male facility. Most residents are long-term.
- Assist in planning, organizing, and maintaining the quality of our dietary services
- Monitor weights and weight changes, and provide nutrition intervention when necessary
- Complete nutrition evaluations on admissions and weekly/monthly weight audits
- Document all nutrition-related resident visits and create/update resident care plans
- Provide point-of-service meal delivery and ensure proper temperature and serving time
- Educate department staff in all aspects of dietary functions
- Oversee menu planning, inventory management, and food delivery
- Ensure quality and quantity of all food delivery and maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment
- Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics from an accredited college or university
- Must possess a dietitian license in Massachusetts
- Current registration as a dietician by the Committee of Dietetic Registration
- Training in cost control, food management, diet therapy, etc. preferred
- Competitive hourly rate between $38 and $60, depending on experience
- Flexible schedule with hours ranging from 4 to 8 per week
