We are united in our mission of conquering cancer, HIV/AIDS, and related diseases. We strive to create an inclusive, diverse, and equitable environment where we provide compassionate and comprehensive care to patients of all backgrounds, and design programs to promote public health particularly among high-risk and underserved populations.

We conduct groundbreaking research that advances treatment, we educate tomorrow's physician/researchers, and we work with amazing partners, including other Harvard Medical School-affiliated hospitals.

The Department of Medical Oncology at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is seeking a Nocturnist to attend on inpatient oncology teams. This role is ideal for candidates who thrive in multidisciplinary and collaborative environments with interests in developing a professional focus in the field of quality improvement, operational efficiency, and education in the context of a major academic medical system. The successful applicant will become an active member of the Department of Medical Oncology at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (and will be provided with mentorship aligned with their professional interests). Academic rank as Instructor or Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School will be commensurate with experience, training, and achievements. The chosen candidate will have opportunities to oversee and teach house staff and APPs.

Required credentials include an M.D. or D.O., and ABIM certification in internal medicine. Hematology-Oncology fellowship training preferred but not required. Qualified candidates must have legal authorization to work in the United States. J-1 visa sponsorship is not available.

At Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, we work every day to create an innovative, caring, and inclusive environment where every patient, family, and staff member feels they belong. As relentless as we are in our mission to reduce the burden of cancer for all, we are committed to having faculty and staff who offer multifaceted experiences. Cancer knows no boundaries and when it comes to hiring the most dedicated and compassionate professionals, neither do we.

If working in this kind of organization inspires you, we encourage you to apply.
