We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Menu Specialist / Concierge to join our Nutrition Services team at Masconomet Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring patients receive medically appropriate, culturally sensitive meals that support recovery.

As a Menu Specialist / Concierge, you will be responsible for adjusting patient meal profiles and menu tickets based on dietary orders, modifying menus to meet clinical dietary needs, logging new dietary orders, and ensuring accurate implementation. Your attention to detail and excellent communication skills will be essential in interviewing patients and families to understand dietary preferences, allergies, and cultural needs.

• Adjust patient meal profiles and menu tickets based on dietary orders
• Modify menus to meet clinical dietary needs while honoring patient preferences
• Log new dietary orders and ensure accurate implementation
• Interview patients and families to understand dietary preferences, allergies, and cultural needs
• Prepare Production Sheets for the kitchen by tallying daily menu selections
• Diet Aid and Stockroom duties as assigned

• 3-4 years in food service, ideally in a healthcare setting
• High school graduate or GED equivalent;
  Serve Safe is a plus
• Ability to use basic math and computer skills to manage dietary data and order entries
• Patient, observant, respectful, and able to communicate clearly with patients
• Comfortable working independently but as part of a mission-driven team

• Competitive hourly rate ($17.00 - $19.00/hour)
• Full-time position with 40 hours/week, 3 to 4 weekdays (9:30 AM – 6:00 PM) plus at least one weekend day every week
