Concierge - Medical Office Location

Position Overview

The Medical Concierge is the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service by warmly greeting and assisting patients. This role ensures patients are directed to the appropriate area, streamlining their experience. Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems is essential for efficiently accessing and updating patient information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Interaction
    • Welcome patients and visitors warmly, creating a positive first impression.
    • Verify patient information and assist with check-in/check-out processes.
  • Navigation and Coordination
    • Direct patients to the appropriate department or healthcare provider.
    • Address inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
  • EMR Management
    • Access and update patient records using the EMR system.
    • Schedule or confirm appointments as necessary.
  • Operational Support
    • Collaborate with front desk staff and other team members to ensure smooth patient flow.
    • Maintain an organized and welcoming reception area.
  • Confidentiality and Compliance
    • Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
    • Follow clinic protocols and procedures.
  • Qualifications
    • Proven experience in a healthcare or customer service role.
    • Proficiency in EMR systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
    • Knowledge of medical terminology (preferred).
    Work Schedule
    • Part-time: 12:30pm - 5:30pm
    Compensation

    $18 - $21 per hour; commensurate with experience

    Physical Requirements
    • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods and perform light physical activity as needed.
