Physical Therapist Assistant team members assist with ensuring the health and well‑being of individuals by providing comprehensive and quality therapy services. This position is responsible for administering skilled physical therapy treatments as developed and recommended by a Registered Physical Therapist, ensuring that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.

• Administer physical therapy treatments and interventions as established by the Registered Physical Therapist
• Assist residents in achieving maximum physical function and independence
• Monitor resident response to treatment and communicate progress to the supervising therapist
• Accurately document treatments, progress notes, and resident outcomes
• Educate residents and families on therapeutic exercises and mobility techniques
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support individualized care plans
• Maintain compliance with facility, state, federal, and professional standards
• Promote a safe, positive, and motivating rehabilitation environment

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current PTA licensure in New York State (or eligibility for licensure)
• Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills
• Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team
• Skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long‑term care experience preferred but not required
• Current, valid CPR/BLS credentials
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English at an intermediate or more advanced level
