Direct Care Worker I
Full and Part Time positions on multiple shifts at Hogan Regional Center in Danvers/Hathorne. This role provides programmatic direct care services and supports to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them achieve daily living and community life skills.
Duties and Responsibilities- Assist in implementation of habilitative, behavioral and recreational programs per the Individual Service Plan (ISP) objectives.
- Coordinate with supervisor to ensure successful ISP implementation, use of appropriate methods, and crisis intervention.
- Facilitate activities of daily living: household maintenance, self‑care and hygiene, food shopping & preparation, budgeting, leisure activities, and socialization skill development.
- Attend review meetings and accompany individuals to appointments; transport individuals to work, recreational activities and other engagements as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality, records, and promote human rights by complying with applicable laws and regulations.
- Ability to build and maintain respectful, caring, tolerant, ethical, and empowering relationships with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Capacity to assist/lift individuals with physical disabilities and/or limited mobility.
- Proficiency in reading and comprehending English.
- Current and valid Class D Motor Vehicle Operator’s License.
- Upon completion of a training program, obtain and maintain CPR and First Aid certifications.

Criminal background check (CORI) as per regulations.
The salary range for this position is $47,798.66 – $60,444.28 per year, based on experience and education. Employees are paid bi‑weekly on direct deposit. The position is classified as an emergency role under the DDS Emergency Plan and requires mandatory overtime and emergency response.
