Our place is by the side of those who need care. With strength and empathy, our family of extraordinary clinicians and caregivers offer individualized care, including physical, emotional and spiritual support, so that you and your loved ones can enjoy the best possible quality of life.

Gentiva is one of the largest Providers of hospice services in the country. We are dedicated to offering care that helps ease the pain and discomfort of terminally ill patients as well as providing psychosocial and spiritual support to both patients and families.

Volunteer opportunities are available at Gentiva Hospice to provide friendly visits to patients and their families in homes or in health care facilities in Essex County and some of Middlesex County Ma. in particular, volunteers that can go to Haverhill. By Volunteering for only a few hours or days a month, you can dramatically impact the quality of life for others.

Volunteers needed who:

• Are willing to listen, talk, play cards or watch a favorite tv show
• Are veterans interested in supporting veterans in hospice
• help patients facetime/video chat/ connect with loved ones who are unable to visit
• Read to patients and provide a supportive presence
• Play Music for patients
• Tuck-in calls
