Clinical Psychologist – Veteran Disability Assessments

We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Psychologist to conduct medical assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. The role involves reviewing behavioral health records electronically through a secure web portal and performing comprehensive in‑person assessments on each Veteran.

• Conduct in‑person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans.
• Review and analyze electronic medical records via a secure web portal.
• Accurately document exam findings and complete the required VA forms.
• Participate in a structured caseload of approximately four Veterans per day.
• Schedule:
  
  Full‑time (Monday‑Friday 8 a.m.–4 p.m.).
• Location:
  
  In‑person role in Newton Center, MA.
• Equipment:
  Computer and all necessary tools for documentation provided.

• A compassionate psychologist dedicated to supporting the Veteran community.
• Strong analytical skills for reviewing medical records and assessment data.
• Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in electronic documentation and web‑based portals.
• Professional and empathetic demeanor when interacting with Veterans.

• Ph.D. or Psy.
  
  D. from an APA‑accredited program or school.
• Active, unrestricted psychology license.
• Comfortable using technology to review records and complete documentation.
• Knowledge that this role does not involve treatment or prescribing medication; disability determinations are made by the VA.
