POSITION SUMMARY:The Patient Transporter is an integral part of the patient care team providing prompt, courteous, customer-focused service to the patients, visitors, and coworkers of Boston Medical Center. The Patient Transporter is responsible for patient transport within the hospital and for miscellaneous functions as well. He/she contributes to service excellence by fostering collaboration among and between team members as well as other ancillary departments.

EDUCATION:
High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred
6-12 Months of customer service or hospital experience
CPR/BLS certification preferred
SKILLS:
Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
Ability to lift without any limitations
$17.92- $26.63
This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications. However, our approach to determining base pay is comprehensive, and a broad range of factors is considered when making an offer.
