Desired Qualifications and

Experience:
  • Current Massachusetts state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
  • Previous experience in school or pediatric settings preferred
  • Proficient communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation
  • Ability to adapt activities and interventions for varying student needs
  • Organized, proactive, and dedicated to supporting student achievement
Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver occupational therapy services as directed by the supervising Occupational Therapist
  • Assist with evaluations, implement approved treatment plans, and track student progress
  • Support students in developing motor skills, adaptive strategies, and independence in classroom routines
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student outcomes
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies and regulations
  • Participate in meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development opportunities
