We are looking for a Patient Access Specialist to support front-end patient access operations in Massachusetts. This long-term contract opportunity is ideal for someone who can create a welcoming experience while handling registration, scheduling, and insurance-related tasks with accuracy. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday and plays an important role in helping patients move smoothly through the intake and appointment process.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome patients in a courteous and attentive manner and guide them through the check-in and registration process.
• Collect, review, and update demographic, insurance, and other required patient information to maintain accurate records.
• Coordinate appointment scheduling and make changes to existing visits based on patient and clinic needs.
• Verify medical insurance coverage and confirm eligibility details before services are provided.
• Explain required forms, policies, and next steps so patients understand the registration process clearly.
• Respond to patient questions related to appointments, registration, and access services while providing timely support.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle patient information in accordance with healthcare privacy standards.
• Assist with administrative workflow updates or process changes as needed to support daily patient access operations.
