Laundry Aide

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Aide to join our team at Christopher House, a 150-bed Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center located in Worcester, Massachusetts. As a Laundry Aide, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our facility, ensuring that our residents receive the highest level of care.

• Wash, dry, and fold laundry items, including linens, clothing, and bedding
• Clean and sanitize laundry equipment and areas
• Maintain a clean and organized laundry room and storage areas
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of clean linens and uniforms
• Follow established protocols for handling soiled laundry and ensuring proper disposal of waste
• Perform other related duties as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to lift and carry laundry bags and equipment (up to 25 pounds)
